The Bridgetown Repertory Club is powered entirely by volunteers — people who love theatre, storytelling, and community. Whether you want to perform, help behind the scenes, or support our events, there’s a role for everyone.
Every production is a team effort — and you don’t need experience to start. Training and mentoring are provided by experienced members, and we’re always happy to welcome new faces.
ON STAGE
If you’ve ever wanted to act, sing, or perform — this is your chance!
We hold open auditions for all of our main season productions and youth programs, welcoming newcomers and experienced performers alike.
Roles include:

Acting or singing in plays and musicals

Participating in one-act festivals and readings

Performing with Bridgetown Youth Theatre or KAOS
BACKSTAGE
Not everyone loves the spotlight — and that’s perfect! Our productions rely on people who make the magic happen behind the curtain.
You can help with:

Stage management and crew

Lighting and sound operation

Set construction and painting

Costume design and wardrobe

Prop making and sourcing
FRONT OF HOUSE
Help create a warm welcome for our audiences.
These are great roles for people who enjoy being social and part of the event-night buzz.
You can assist with:

Ticket sales and ushering

Bar and kiosk service

Decorating and preparing the foyer

Audience coordination and accessibility support
CREATIVE AND PRODUCTION
If you have a creative flair or production experience, we’d love your input.
We’re always looking for new directors, writers, and designers to bring fresh ideas to our stage.

VENUE
The theatre building itself is part of our heritage, and it takes a village to keep it running.
If you have skills in carpentry, painting, cleaning, or gardening, we’d love your help maintaining the venue
COMMITEE
Our committee oversees productions, venue management, and community engagement.
Members with organisational or administrative experience can contribute by helping with:
