2026 Annual General Meeting

The AGM will take place on 

• Wednesday October 21st at 7pm 

• Bridgetown Theatre, Cnr Hampton & Nelson Sts, Bridgetown. 

 

Although the main items on the Agenda will be the ratifying of the 2025 AGM Draft Minutes, the election of the committee for 2026, and a minor amendment to the Constitution, come along to find out what the outgoing committee have been doing this past year and what plans we have for the future.

Everyone on our mailing list is invited to attend and have a say but you must be a financial member (see below) in order to vote on items and/or nominate for the committee.

Committee Elections 

Committee positions to be filled: 

• President 

• Vice-President 

• Secretary 

• Treasurer 

• Other Committee members covering the following portfolios: 

• Resident Stage Manager/Hires 

• Production Manager 

• Membership Coordinator 

• Theatre Manager (Buildings & Maintenance) 

• Wardrobe Manager 

• Promotions Manager 

• Newsletter Editor 

• Social Media Officer 

 

If you are interested in any of the above and would like to nominate yourself or someone else for a position on the committee, please complete the attached Nomination form. 

If you are unable to attend the meeting in person, you may appoint a proxy to vote on your behalf. See the attached AGM Proxy form. 

All nomination forms, proxy forms and motions of notice must be received before the start of the AGM. 
 
If you do not want to be on the committee but would like to assist with any of the portfolios, you could offer to be an ex-officio member. Talk to any of the committee members before the meeting (or after) if this appeals to you, or you can contact us. 

 

Membership Registration 

Membership fees are due January 1st, but will be regarded as paid for the following year if paid any time after the AGM: 

• Adult $25 

• Junior (under 18) $10 

• Youth groups KAOS (up to Yr7) or BYT (yrs 7-12) additional $50, covering regular training sessions 

 

You can pay by cash directly to one of the Committee, via direct deposit, or online:

If your details have changed, please fill in a new membership form, or email your new details to secretary@bridgetowntheatre.org.au
